Hello, once again! It has been an extremely long time since I posted any pictures on the blog and I decided its high time I share a few once again. Here are four different photo sessions that I took in the end of 2023. Colson Brandt
Soraya Eve
Dante Elijah And a fun session with friends at Hershey Theater.
Another sweet little girl that I had the privilege to photograph. She was such a cutie with her head full of black hair, and she just slept peacefully though her entire photoshoot. So sweet...... Enjoy!
Meet this little darling with her head full of hair, and such cute chubby cheeks. She was a true gem to photograph!
Meet the Bender family.... I met this family one chilly, frosty morning in November at Ephrata Cloister. They were real troopers even with the chilly weather and we were able to capture family photos in a short amount of time!
Individual Portraits from various photoshoots this fall.
A few pictures from Lichty's Mennonite Church directory photoshoot this fall.
Meet this sweet little darling. Another sweet little girl that was such a joy to photograph! She did very well, and even allowed us a few pictures while she was awake!
A few pictures I did this fall for a church directory.
I was more than happy to take a few newborn photos of my cousin's daughter, I mean who wouldn't love to take pictures of this sweet little darling. Liliana even allowed us to take a few when she was awake....
I met this family at a small garden in Annville, and we had a lovely morning together while I snapped individual portraits of these six siblings.
Meet this sweet little darling! Kiana did a wonderful job allowing me to pose her and I highly enjoyed playing doll for a few hours!
Hello everyone, finally getting around to posting a few more photos for you all to see! I will try to post more regularly in the next few months. Here are a few photos from a recent session of church directory photos.
Another family summer session, taken at one of the grandchildren's lovely property! It was a beautiful evening and I enjoyed the challenge of a slightly larger group than normal!
I was honored to be able to capture this families photos for them this summer. With some of the family not living local, they wanted to capture a family photo while everyone was in the area for a wedding. Thankfully we had a lovely evening and I could capture these images for them.
Good morning everyone, it is coming to that time of year when it is time to start thinking about taking family pictures so you can hand out pictures when you go to all your Christmas gatherings this winter! I know Christmas seems a long way off but before we know it, it will be fall and then time just keeps moving quickly and before you know it the holidays are upon us. I am looking forward to these next months when I can meet families and capture a photograph for them to treasure for years! But unfortunately I do not have enough of time to do photos for everyone that asks, and each year I have to turn more and more people down. I wish I could reach around better but its just not possible to be more than one place at once! My fall schedule is already partially booked so just keep in mind if you would like family pictures taken, now is probably the best time to get your spot on the schedule!
Just a few pictures from the lovely wedding I took pictures at a few weeks ago!
Grateful and Blessed to call this sweet little bundle a new part of our family! Ariana Grace arrived on May 13, 2021 weighing 7 pounds 10 oz. We have very quickly become quite attached to her, and cannot imagine life without all her little noises and expressions!
Her arrival has made things a little quiet here on my blog in the past couple weeks, so I decided to quick jump on here and share a few photos that I captured for Ariana's newborn session. And then hopefully sometime in the next month or two you will hear from me again once I am finished with my little break!
Enjoy these photos of a happy five year old! Logan did a wonderful job and made it easy for me to capture these photos of him at the Moravian Church in Lititz.
Meet Daxton Myles. We are good friends with Duane and Beth and when she asked if I would be interested in taking their newborn's photos, I was more than happy to say yes! He did a wonderful job at relaxing for photos and even allowed a few 'awake shots' which was great! Enjoy his newborn cuteness!
Thanks Duane and Beth for allowing me to capture this moment for you! May you be blessed as you adjust to this new milestone in life.
Another sweet newborn session. Little Avianna was such a joy to work with, being born a few weeks early, she was happy and content to sleep in whatever position I placed her! And so I had way to much fun taking these pictures, and had a hard time getting finisher with her! Enjoy the cuteness of this little girl!
Meet this sweet little one, Declan Cole. He did a wonderful job sleeping for us, and looked so adorable in the cute little outfit his mom had for him! And the hat that went with it, well nothing could have looked more precious!
I met the Martin family at the Moravian Church in Lititz one evening this past fall. It was a lovely evening, just perfect for taking photos! Everyone else must have thought so too, as their was two other photo sessions going on at the same location!
Meet the sweet little Zimmerman family. When Janita asked me if I would be interested in taking their photos in a soybean field, I was excited to say yes and do something a little different than the normal. I met them on a little traveled road near their place and we grabbed a few shots in the field. Their daughter did very well and we were able to capture quite a few family photos despite the little bit of mud!
Meet this cute little family! I was delighted when my friend Sarah asked if I would want to take their family photos. And just as I expected, I had a wonderful time capturing these, and their two girls did such a wonderful job. Enjoy this touch of fresh green color on this winter day!
Thought I would share a few photos of our second photography workshop which we held in July! It was a lovely day although it was calling for a chance of showers, thankfully it just dripped a little and we didn't need to change our schedule at all! I highly enjoyed my day being with a large group of photography minded individuals! A big thank you to the photographers who made this day possible and also a thank you to each individual who came as a workshop attendee and made this day a success!
In the afternoon we held classes and of course took a few breaks to grab some refreshments and give our brains a restful moment!
In the evening we gave the workshop attendees a chance to watch us take a few photos. I had a group of sisters come, and they did a wonderful job despite all the people watching them!
Meet Cassidy. She was such a joy to photograph, very content and happy to be wherever I positioned her!
We finally got to host our workshop this past week! Yay! After planning this event for quite a few weeks it was wonderful to see how all the details came together!
Danelle Sensenig, Elaine Hurst, Michelle Martin, and Jennica Hursh were my fellow photographers who helped this event come together. So grateful for the time and effort everyone put into making this happen! We had classes on Manual Photography, Lighting, Composition of a Photo, and Posing your Clients. Following these classes we shared a light supper before taking time in the evening for hands on practice with portrait photography. Enjoy a few photos from the day!
Favors for each of the workshop attendees.
We set up a small tablescape outside for a bit of practice with still life photography.
And of course we needed refreshments throughout the day!
Was a wonderful day and I am grateful for each one who took time out of their busy schedules to come to this workshop! It was a pleasure working with each one of them! And my hope is that we all became better photographers from the knowledge we gained together!
I am excited to share that a few local photographers are holding a photography workshop!
Details are below, space is limited so register today!
The other week I met these two children and their mother at Pool Forge Park and we captured a few pictures. The weather was quite chilly and the children didn't last long so we went to their house, which was nearby, and took a few more. We also got to use one of their cute puppies on a few of the photos.
Meet Kenyon Elliot. He came to my house one Saturday afternoon and we took a few pictures. I enjoyed posing this little five pound baby. He was born a few weeks early so he was content to sleep most of the time and easily relaxed into each pose I put him in!
Thank You, Kenton and Francine, for allowing me to capture these photos of your son.
I was excited when Andre's mom asked if I would want to take his one year pictures! And even more so when she wanted to do them at a Christmas tree farm and hopefully with some snow. So when it snowed the other week, we took advantage of it and planned a photo session. He did such a good job and I had a wonderful time capturing all his different expressions! Enjoy!
I again had the privilege of photographing a sweet baby girl! So much fun to capture her baby sweetness. Aubrey Kate was born to a couple we know quite well from our group of friends and is also a cousin of mine. So exciting to see them welcome a baby into their lives!
The happy parents, Clark and Emily.
Caught one of her silly smiles, she must've been having sweet dreams!
I was able to take maternity pictures for my good friend Karla quite a few weeks ago, and now just recently I was able to capture a few photos of her newborn daughter. Gretta Sage, such a fun huggable bundle. She just wanted to be awake and see what was going on but we did manage to convince her that sleeping wouldn't be so bad! And then we happily snapped a few photos.
The happy parents, Gary and Karla.
I enjoy taking pictures of teenagers, but when it is your own siblings it is twice as much fun! We had a wonderful morning together stopping at three different locations to take pictures! Our first stop was Pinewood and Posies in Paradise. What a lovely place! If you ever want to pick your own flower bouquet this is the place to be. Rows and rows of flowers planted on this beautiful Amish farm. So pretty! I just had to share a pictures of the place with you.
My lovely sister, Heather.
And my youngest sibling, Landon.
Our second stop was in Strasburg, where we took a few pictures along the street.
As we were headed back we drove past Sight and Sound, and we decided, why don't we quick stop and take a few more there. So we did!
I was given the privilege of photographing this little guy a few weeks ago. He was such a perfect angel, he simply relaxed in whatever position I put him in. That lasted until the clothing came off and then he was soon finished. :)
